my powerbook G4 died a couple of days ago - I'm very surprised it didn't die sooner, cause I've been punching that piece of shit for two years. My friend Phil concluded that the hard drive had died, did the research on how to replace it, which one to buy etc etc. But then I remembered that we have my wife's powerbook that died last year for other reasons ----- soooo, I opened it up, took out the hard drive and put it into mine, and that was it, I RULE. (Phil, sorry for bothering you)
I hate Apple - these machines are a PAIN IN THE ASS to open, they have some hidden latches, and if you don't have special tools (like I don't), your machine will look like shit when you put it back together.
But as long as it works, I don't give a fuck.
