'71-NY by DAIDO MORIYAMA

In 1971, Daido Moriyama took his first trip to New York City, which was also his first trip outside of Japan. He shot 100 rolls of film (I read somewhere it was Kodak Tri-X) with a an OLYMPUS PEN W half-frame camera. The result was this amazing book ... I love the grain, it's amazing how it looks when you blow up a tiny 18x24 negative.
I got my copy @ DASHWOOD BOOKS ...
